Art-Based Fundraisers

A Little Bit About Us

Founded in 1989 by Carol Newlin, Original Works was born from a mother’s desire to showcase her child’s creativity through fundraisers for schools and other groups. Today that desire is stronger than ever, driving us to continue to create and deliver inspired school fundraising programs and quality products that celebrate each child’s artistic accomplishments.

As their favorite quick and easy fundraiser of the year, from hands-on school curriculum art projects to online fundraising programs, schools get excited about Original Works – not just as a fundraiser, but as a completely unique experience built on:

• Customer Focus – Designed with our educational communities, families and children in mind, we place a special emphasis on student accomplishment and self-esteem.
• Simplicity – Streamlined designs and easy to follow procedures result in school art fundraising ideas and programs that require minimal volunteer time and administrative effort.
• Quality – Our focus on people, innovation and process improvement leads to quality experiences and success for all of our customers.
• Passion – We do what we love and love what we do. Our passion for children, art and education drives us to continue to develop fun, simple and educational school fundraising programs.

What We Do

At Original Works, we know firsthand that parents and teachers who are often put in charge of fundraising activities simply don’t have the time to reinvent the wheel in order to come up with unique school fundraiser ideas.  The need for virtual fundraising for schools has become critical. This is where we can help, by facilitating innovative and profitable fundraisers for schools, preschools, private schools and other groups that remove the burden from overworked teachers and parents.

Using original student artwork, we can create a variety of attractive and useful products for your PTA creative fundraising efforts, including:

• Key Chains
• Holiday Ornaments
• Magnets
• Mouse Pads
• Mugs
• Note Cards
• Notebooks
• Tote Bags
• …and more

We offer a variety of options for school or PTA fundraising so you can choose your preferred level of involvement.  With virtual fundraising ideas and programs, raising money for school projects or initiatives is simple. For example, we can provide you with paper for student art, free of charge, along with packets to send home to families for easy ordering.  If you don’t want to worry about managing orders and handling money, you can opt for our online ordering program for convenience and peace of mind.  Explore our fundraising  opportunities to find the perfect options to suit your needs and preferences.

Is an Art Fundraiser Right for You?

Original Works proudly partners with a variety of organizations, including PTA groups, schools, churches, and more to plan and execute successful art fundraiser efforts.  Schools, church groups, and other non-profit organizations can be stretched pretty thin when it comes to resources, and this can make launching fundraising efforts difficult.

One thing your organization may have in spades, however, is creative kids who want to share their art with the world.  Why not let them be advocates for their school or other group by donating their art for a good cause?  Whether you’re engaged in church or PTA art fundraising, this is a great way for any organization to involve kids and families by creating personal keepsakes that appeal to family members and friends.

Why Choose Original Works for Your School Fundraisers?

If you want to know where school fundraiser companies focused on promoting student artwork came from, you’ve found the source.  Original Works was the first company of this type offering student-created products for school fundraising efforts, and we remain a leader in the field for a number of reasons.

First and foremost, we make PTA creative school fundraising easy.  We know that teachers and parents don’t have a lot of spare time, which is why we do the heavy lifting.  All you have to do is provide student artwork and we’ll make your preferred products, manage sales, and handle the money so you can easily collect needed funds for your organization.  Our high-quality products result in profitable school fundraisers.

We also offer outstanding customer service and support throughout your fundraiser.  Original Works was started by a mother, for mothers, teachers, and others engaged in student support.  By employing student artworks to raise funds, you can give children a sense of accomplishment and pride and generate much-needed funds to supplement resources.  When you partner with Original Works, you’ll enjoy a positive and streamlined experience tailored to your needs and preferences.
