PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – OCTOBER 5TH, 2020
ORIGINAL WORKS NEW ONLINE PROGRAMS ARE LIVE!
Original Works, the leading art based fundraising company for K-8 schools has added two new online fundraising programs to their online school fundraising platform.
FUN & FLEXIBLE
Released nationwide for the Fall 2020 season, the new Gallery Direct and atHome programs have been added to their well-known Online Gallery program to create a profitable, easy to use online fundraising platform.
Each program is specifically designed to address the new and varied needs of the schools, offering a significant competitive advantage in today’s marketplace. The programs provide the school with the opportunity to earn needed funds, while allowing parents, grandparents, and students the opportunity to purchase meaningful gifts in a fun, safe, and easy to use environment.
SIMPLE & ENGAGING
Student artwork and photographs can be uploaded to a custom online fundraising site managed for each school by Original Works. Parents and students can then shop in the online store and place orders from any one of more than 40 products featuring their child’s own artwork or photographs.
All payments are made directly on line, so the school does not have to handle money or track orders. In addition, schools can choose to have orders delivered to the school for distribution, or shipped directly to the home.
LESS WORK & MORE REWARD
“We are so excited about the release of these new online programs, and the schools are thrilled with the available options and ease of use they provide”, says Director of Marketing & Field Sales Leah Groff. “In the last two months, demand for the new programs has soared, and we expect the schools will see strong order volume as more people turn to online shopping, especially for the upcoming holidays.”
With tens of thousands of schools nationwide being forced to adjust the way in which they are operating due to Covid-19, the release of these new online fundraising programs fills an important need.
“It has been a real challenge for schools across the country to adapt to a combination of in-person, remote, or hybrid learning, and we knew we needed to do something to assist”, says Ted Newlin, Chief Executive Officer. “Our goal is to take the burden of fundraising off the schools as much as possible. This allows them to focus on managing the new teaching dynamic, while still offering safe and profitable fundraising options. Our new online programs allow them to do both.”
